Color Ownership

Upon new ownership, color-holders will have the option to register their color publicly. This will allow color-holders to add their name and profile picture to their held color at ColorOwnership.com. Allowing the world to see verified individual color ownership outside blockchain wallets.

Upon registration color-holders will have the choice to showcase their name and profile picture. But for color-holders who value privacy, color-holders are allowed to register any username / profile image of their choice. If a color-holder sells their color, their public color ownership status will be withdrawn and replaced upon the new color-holder's registration.

Note: Color ownership of a single-pixel does not transfer to multi-pixel images. As a result, any and all accusations of third-party copyright infringement are dismissed. See Terms & Conditions for more details.

WHY 1 PIXEL?
Our founder (The ColorMaster) wanted to create a collection symbolizing true ownership of individual colors. He believed this could be achieved only by owning a single hexadecimal colored pixel.

​WHY ERC-721?
To certify official color ownership the ColorMaster created single hexadecimal colored pixel ERC-721 tokens located on the Ethereum network. ERC-721's hold value as non-fungible tokens, provide additional security for color-holders, and allow the necessary royalty feature.

​HOW DO I REGISTER MY COLOR ON COLOROWNERSHIP.COM?
The BCC team is currently working on a wallet login feature that will allow color-holders to register their color for public display at ColorOwnership.com. This feature is projected to be available March, 2023.
